  2. Figure 5.a.1

  3. Navigate to the new images’ path and select one or more images.   Click “Open” to add images
  4. The image locations will be analyzed and linked to the appropriate Date, Group, and Log Files (if available).
  5. There are 3 ways to see the added images (see Figure 5.a.1): “By Date”(#1), “By Group” (#2), and “By Log Files” (#3).  You can also search images by typing in the group name on the right column under the Image Groups table. (In #3 Trip Record section, user can right click on the trip files and export as either NMEA file, GPX file or Google Earth files.

Note: In order to determine the image’s location, the corresponding data from the PhotoTrackr must be first downloaded to the PC before adding corresponding images.  If the images were added before a trip record is downloaded, follow steps described in Re-analyze Images Locations below.

Re-analyze Image Location

  1. You can reanalyze the images if their location cannot be determined (assuming you have the corresponding GPS data for the pictures) by right-clicking on the image thumbnails and select "Re-analyze Image Location". (Figure 5.a.2)

  2. Figure 5.a.2

  3. Verify the time zone where the pictures were taken. (Figure 5.a.3)

  4. Figure 5.a.3

  5. If you click "No" in Step 2, the time zone message box will appear. Choose the time zone where your images were taken from the drop-down menu (Figure 5.a.4). You can also offset the photo's time to match your GPS time.
