Online Photo Sharing at Flickr
- To share photos online at Flickr, users are required to sign up for a free Flickr account at http://www.flickr.com. After signing up for a Flickr account, user will have to set their Photo Geo Privacy level at http://www.flickr.com/account/geo/privacy/ in order to enable photo geo-tagging online.
- Select the photo(s) to be shared online and click “Share Online” button: (Figure 5.c.1)

- First time user is required to authorize the PhotoTrackr software to have the ability to upload photos to the user’s Flickr account. A window will pop-up and ask user to sign in to his/her Flickr account. (Figure 5.c.2) After signing in, click “OK, I’ll Allow It” button. (Figure 5.c.3) The window will automatic close and the upload dialog box shows up.

- Set the appropriate upload options from the upload dialog box: (Figure 5.c.4)
- Resize Image – setting this option allow program to resize the images before upload, thus save online storage space and requires less time to upload.
- Photo Privacy – determine who can see the uploaded pictures. If none of the option is checked, the uploaded image(s) will be marked “Private” and only the account owner will be able to see the image(s)
- Hit “OK” and wait for upload to finish
- To see the newly uploaded images, you will be asked if you want to view your photos online. The program will bring you to the website if you click Yes (Figure 5.c.5).
- You can also view your photo online by clicking the "My Online Photo" button (Figure 5.c.6).

- To use any other online photo sharing services, you need to sign up an account at the corresponding online service provider's website.
- After you sign up, select an online sharing service from the drop-down menu (Figure 5.c.7).

- Enter your user name and password associate with that account.
- Click OK to save the settings and now you are ready to upload your photos.
- Select the photo(s) to be shared online and click “Share Online” button: (Figure 5.c.1)
